Persistent Algea with successful SLAM?

Hi All--in the process of a second SLAM this year after a week vacation w/ chlorinator on with tabs.

Except for the residual green algae dust upon brushing, the SLAM appears successful. Last 72 hours of readings below with 2 overnight OCLT < 1 and CC consistently at 0.5 or 0

CC 0, 0, 0.5, 0, 0, 0, 0
TA 80, 80, 80, 80, 80, 80, 80
PH 7.5, 7.5, 7.4, 7.2, 7.3, 7.4, 7.4
CH 100, 100, 100, 100, 100, 100, 100
CYA 35, 35, 35, 35, 35, 35, 35,

The pool is Chrystal clear (except when brushing and small green patches in the corners and sides); shock FC is holding; CC low to zero; clean cartridges daily. Any one have any thoughts as to why the green dust is remaining?

Have you tried vacuming it up! It is to heavy to stay suspended in the water to filter it out, so vacuuming will be the only way to really get it out.

One of the three criteria to stopping a SLAM is no visible algae.

CC is 0.5 or lower;
You pass an OCLT (ie overnight FC loss test shows a loss of 1.0 ppm or less);
And the water is clear.

Did you scrub in the lights, etc? You probably should continue to SLAM until it's gone, brushing everywhere you can.

Yes, I'm afraid there is no such animal. No successful SLAM has Algae left over afterward. As above, that's a primary criteria for passing. No Algae.

Just FYI, the PH test is not valid when FC is above 10 so no need to test.

is it pollen? lots of posts here lately I see where people think they have algae and its just pollen settling. are you passing a OCLT? if you are and the green is visible, its not algae and its most likely pollen.
