OMG. Is it the end of the world if I forgot to rinse after a backwash??

Backwash-rinse. Wash. Rinse. Wash. Rinse. Makes sense doesn't it? Except I missed that concept. I'm sitting here 2 hours post backwashing the pool and it is pitch black outside now...I'm fretting now that all my hard work getting rid of algae, back swimmers, and the ones they love to eat, etc. has been in vain. Any soothing words so I can sleep peacefully tonight?

I should add that after the ahem, pool guy turned my filter down from 12 to 2 hrs daily without my 2 cents, I started seeing back swimmers. This is Oklahoma and we've been up in the 80s for a week now and I just realized the filter was off 22 hours a day a few days ago...serves me right. Lesson learned. Needless to say, I fired that company.

That's what the skimmer net is for. Vacuum up whatever sinks and get rid of it the next time you backwash.
