I have a 20,000 gallon above ground pool. I just opened my pool 10 days ago. It was not too bad and I could see the bottom. I vacuum some debris by the hose and filter, after 1 to 2 hours, the whole pool became very green. I think because I did not use any clarifer, so the green thing came in to the filter and back to the pool again. I have used 4 gallons of liquid chlorine, and 4 pounds of super shocks; I also have been filtering and clearing the pool, but the pool is still in deep green color. I just used a test strip to test the water and fond CYA, TH, TA, PH are all very low or zero, except the FC seems not too too bad.
1.) I don't know which is a better choice, drain and refill the pool, or keep using chemical. I do prefer to fix it since 20,000 gallons of water is not cheap, plus, it talk a long time to drain and refill.
2.) If I keep using chemical, I want to use the BBB method because it is cheaper. Since all levels are low, I don't know what should I add first
Please give some suggestion.
Thanks
