Leveling ground

Putting up a 16x48 and the area is hard packed rock and gravel. Is there an easier way to level the ground without digging it all up?

Welcome to TFP!!!

The pool should be level to within 1" and you should dig down the high side. Unless you have the equipment and know how to properly pack anything you build up.

Thanks, just a pain in the butt trying to dig out the hard pack rock and gravel.

Rent a jackhammer, that's what I did. And, yes, definitely dig down to level. You will thank yourself

Here's my solution for my 16x48. Been up 4 years now, with no problems.
