Chlorine/Borates

I have just gone through the process of adding borates to my pool. I have the 48 hour waiting period before I check the level. Can I add bleach should my FC levels require adjusting during this time frame?

Add bleach. Adding borates can affect the PH and TA, which are what need time to settle. Hopefully the borates will also reduce the amount of chlorine you need to add, but you still need to add chlorine regularly.
