SLAM without a main drain?

You earned it! You have been working full time and been the one doing your SLAM process by yourself! Be very proud of your progress. Make a rule when you are done that hubby has to brush the pool once a day...lol
Ha! That is awesome. He definitely is on brushing duty once I get this thing under control.
Just checked & was at 16.5 FC. So, I lost 1.5 in 5 hours. Added 55 oz to get me to 18. THere is no sun today, so clearly something is still eating up all my chlorine in there..
It is pouring rain today, so scrubbing will wait until it clears, but the robot is running. That should help some.

Yes definitely something in there consuming. Even when it is overcast you can still lose ppm but just not as much. You are doing great!
Lost another 1 FC since last check. Added a quart of bleach. It is raining casts & dogs, now with lightning, so I think I am done for the day. No scrubbing...
Yes, keep the SLAM level up all day and hopefully between that and the sunlight the CC will drop to .5 or lower.

Yup - clear all the way to the bottom. It looks great - the overcast day is not doing it justice.
All right - I will make sure we stay at SLAM levels today and filter. Will try the overnight again tonight, hopefully with no CC.

It's awesome when you see new stuff every day. It is really cool when you think it can't get any better, and you walk out the next morning and your crystal clear pool is some how clearer.

Thanks! I love knowing I can do this myself. My PG wanted $2500+ for a drain & refill plus opening this year. Instead, I did it all myself. Now I can buy the patio furniture I wanted. 
Yes, you earned that patio furniture. You can kick back and enjoy your pool now and watch hubby do the brushing and vacuuming. You did the hard part.
