Hey guys I am new to opening the pool. I have test the pool and all levels seem fine here's a pic of what it looks like

Welcom fellow Alabamian! Before and one can help you'll need to post a complete set of t st results. What test kit are you using?
for right now, I am using a regular aqua chem 6-way test strips. my results from the test are
total hardness-250
total chlorine-1
free chlorine-0
bromine-0
pH-7.2
total alkalinity-120
stabilizer-50

Your pool is cloudy because algae is growing in it. Algae is growing in it because there is not enough chlorine. Chlorine must be maintained above the minimum level for your CYA level at all times or algae will grow. Chlorine CYA Chart
Get a good test kit from the Test Kit Comparison, I use the TF100 from tftestkits.net.
Once you get your test kit you will need to SLAM Your Pool to kill the algae.

I don't understand how to do the Slam. Like I said this pool is all new to me. Before the pic was taken we had already added about 9 lbs of shock because we have been trying to open for 3 weeks.
No worries. We are here to help you. Did you read through the link that pooldv posted for the SLAM? You can also read my SLAM process that is linked in my signature. It may help you get a better understanding.
I did. Thing is there is no pool store near me and I can't get a better test kit until I order one. Since I don't have a better test kit is there anything I can directly pour in to clear it up?
Unfortunately, you will have to order a test kit. You don't want to blindly add anything to the pool and make things worse.
Your welcome. Post your numbers once you have a recommended test kit and we can get you rolling. I love my TF 100 and you get more bang for your buck with bigger bottles. I recommend the XL option and the speed stir too.
I think I have found out the cause of the cloudiness. The water is supposed to hit the top of the glass while filtering correct? Mine just has water to the glass and bubbles moving inside I have a pic but im not sure if you can tell or not.
I cannot see the bubbles, but yes it water should be to the top. Do you have an air relief valve to release the air? Once released if it does it again you probably have some place that is sucking air.
Ok. I am not sure where your air relief valave would be. Mine is different and on top.
That cannot cause cloudy water. Cloudy water is almost always caused by chlorine levels being too low for the CYA level. It is also usually a sign of algae.
