My test kit came today!

My new test kit came today. Here are my results.
FC 5
CC 1.5
Total 6.5
CH 300
ALK 30
CYA 50

I must admit it was a lot simpler than the strips. It's is a more in depth kit but my results were definite. Thanks for the advice. Now what should I do to get them up to level.

Congrats on tour test! PH needs to be brought up to 7.2, you have CC of 1.5 so there is something going on in there. Your TA is also low.
How does your water look?
You will need to look at the SLAM process in Pool School and use the chart to get you FC SLAM level for a CYA of 50

After reading in Pool School about the ABC's of pool water chemistry, recommended levels and the SLAM process please post questions you may have.

That is great! I will let someone else chime in since you have CC of 1.5, but in the meantime you can bring TA and PH up.

Maybe try an Overnight FC Loss Test to see if anything is in there.
