2nd year on TFP - what to adjust before slam

Pool was opened last week - water not too bad but green algae on bottom and sides.

TF100 test kit results:

FC 0
CC 0 ?
pH 7.0
TA 30
CH 120
CYA 0

I have my stabilizer ready and aiming for target of 30 CYA. To SLAM I will aim for FC of 12?
Adjust the pH to 7.5 with baking soda
Do I adjust TA now or wait?

Any other suggestions?

I have a question about your CYA. Did you have CYA when you closed the pool? If so did you have a lot of water replacement due to snow or rain?

Your pH is fine, it will come up during the slam. Wait until after the slam to see if TA needs any adjustment. Odds are the TA is fine where it is.

DO NOT use baking soda to raise pH.

Raise your pH to around 7.4 using 20 mule team borax......the TA will rise also. Then SLAM

Brush that algae up into the water so the FC can kill it.

If you want you can move to a different spot and add chlorine right away. Even doing that is overkill in this situation. Adding some products together or right on top of each other isn't adviseable however.
