Reversing Time Delay for Cell

Where we live we have very, very soft water, although the pool does have iron inundated volcanic dust/dirt blown into it by trade winds. What would the optimal reversing time for the cell, 4, 8, or 16 hours? Was set at 4 but changed it to 8 hours.

One note recently we lowered the power setting to 1 from 2, so it runs a little longer at a lower amperage.

Extending the reverse time will extend the cell life marginally.
You should keep an eye on the cell for scaling over the next month. If it stays clean, you can leave it on 8 hrs.
Factory setting is 4 hrs.
