Pool Wall / Liner Help

Hi all,

I recently purchased a 12X20 oval pool and had a professional company install it for me last summer 2 feet below ground. I noticed this year that I can see the imprint of bolts on 2 of the wall joints on each side of the skimmer. There are no punctures in the liner yet but I am nervous about this. I would say they come out about 1 cm. I am wondering what could have caused this. Maybe a shift in the pool as it settled? The bigger question is what happens if the liner breaks? Can some please help this new pool owner. Thanks in advance!

I can see imprints in mine also at the skimmer wall. Have no idea if this is normal, so I'm hoping someone will come along and provide some insight!

I don't know if it's normal but mine looks the same way. Pool has been up 4 years and I haven't had a problem yet.

It's normal. Those are wall bolts. There is no way to get around them. Your installer should have used duct tape over them to protect your liner. It is perfectly fine.

Thanks, Casey! I was very nervous but glad to hear it sounds pretty common. I just found it odd that I only recently noticed them and my pool was installed late last summer.
