You need to anchor it with light rope to two sides of the pool directly across from each other...If you have a security fence around the base of the pool, this is easy enough to do...If not I would suggest driving a tent stake into the ground on either side of the pool and tie it off that way...attach the ends of the rope to the pillow and tie off other ends to the stakes.
