Our current Hayward Vari_Flow valve is cracked and we need to replace it. We have a S-200 sand filter, and the model number printed on the valve is SP71 0X32. Looking on line, the model number sequence seems to be slightly different - for example, I see an SP0710X32 that looks slightly different than what I have, and an SPX0710X32 without a picture.
Are the slight differences in the model numbers actually different parts or just different versions that will work with what I've got? Basically, I just want to know my options for replacing my cracked valve as easily and inexpensively as possible. Thanks......
