I just drained and refilled my pool to fix high CH problem. When I refilled the pool I checked water meter at start and finish, so know the volume.
According to PoolMath, to get CYA to 70 for my SWG pool I should add 3 lbs, 14 oz.
I added the first 3 lbs via sock in front of return method yesterday, which should take it to 54.
My question is, do I need to wait a week, test the results, and then add the remaining CYA?
Or can I just add the remaining 14 oz today (while monitoring pH) and trust PoolMath that it will go to the right amount?
Don't want to get my CYA too high, but I trust my ability to weigh the CYA more than my eyes to read the results of the test.
Thanks,
