above ground top rail cap

quick question.
One of my top rail caps is missing, and can't find it anywhere. I inherited the pool when I bought the house and have no idea who made the pool. The pool is probably 7 years old. Anybody know where I could find a generic cap or some way to cover the sharp edges and screws that are exposed.I would appreciate any and all ideas.

Can you post a picture of the caps you have? Most of them are two pieces that interlock and screw into a metal plate. If you can remove one of the other caps there may be a serial number or other identifying information underneath.

This is one instance where the pool store might be a help. I never go to pool stores anymore except when I'm looking for specific, obscure parts, and they're usually a huge help.

I tried leslie's no help and the other 2 stores no help I called inyopools no help the part # are 2463 and 2464 I tried uploading a pic but it did not work

To cover the sharp edges, is there a way you could use a piece of pool noodle or foam?
