It is a miracle.....or is it?

I ran across this product via a youtube video when I was ordering my test kit today. It's called Yellow Out and appears to be a miracle cure for filthy pools like I have seen posted up in this section of the forum.

I have not seen it mentioned here as a solution yet and I suspect there is a good reason for it. Of course the video is cheesy and I would expect you would need to skim out all the leaves and vacuum out the sludge on the bottom, but they do claim it works in 24 hrs.

For all of you who are experienced pool owners:
1. Does it actually work?
2. What is the downside to this product?

Thankfully, I have a crystal clear pool and have no need for such a product. HOWEVER; my inner teenager would love to watch a chemical reaction like that in a pool first hand. Looks pretty cool!

Oh, wait a minute, I don't ever have a green pool since I use the TFP method.
