Liner out of track... Tried tricks... Need other tips

Liner came out of track sometime during the winter. Not sure how long it's been out. But it's was out about 6 ft. Got it back in to about 4 ft and can't get it anymore. Hot water, hair dryer drain pool more... Can't get it in anymore. Liner is 8 years old.

Only thing I can come up with from research is drain the shallow end and try to get it back in. I'm out of ideas and my hands are tore up.

It looks like it would be so easy to get back in, but it's an optical illusion.

You will need to drain the water. you need to pull the liner up high enough to get that back in the track and there is no way to do that with 80,000lbs of water holding it down
