Hello Everyone,
This is the second summer for our Pebble Sheen Finish. When it was applied last year the CH was around 130 but quickly rose by it's self to 260. This year with a new fill I have a CH of 130. Can I expect the CH to raise again by its self or should I get some calcium chloride now and add it. I looks like I need around 24 pounds for my 20k gallon pool to get to 260. Thanks in advance for any advise.

Evaporation will cause the CH to rise, which is significant down here in AZ (I get 120ppm rise yearly). But, up there, I think you would be better off raising it up to 250+ so that the pool is more balanced.
