New to pool - know nothing, need help, please.

Just moved in and yes, husband thought liner was just off track, easy fix (his words). But upon closer inspection, this is something entirely different.

Is this a DIY or is this going to be very expensive ?

Any help is appreciated.

Not sure what we're looking at there. Looks like a couple of 2x4s or wider that the liner was screwed to. Can you confirm what that is?

Is it the track for the liner that has separated from the wall ??

The track needs to be remounted to the wall. This time use stainless screws. The whole job is going to be a little tricky, possible as a DIY project, but not an especially simple one.
