Dumb question about solar blanket

does it matter if the bubbles are facing up or down?
I never used one and just took ours out yesterday to try and get our temp up to around 86 from 81

The bubbles need to be placed face down, this allows the heat to be distibuted into the pool water. You will be hard pressed to get a 5 degree boost from Solar Blanket only. One neat trick though, is to shut off skimmer, and pull water from the main drain, the water down there is cooler then the top
