My old booster pump motor on my Polaris 380 was on its way out last year. It was very loud and probably ****** off the neighbors. I disconnected it to see if I could fix the issue, but everything was so rusted, I couldn't even get the screws off of the backplate. The motor was built in 1999, so it's going on 16 years... time for a new one.
Anyway, I confirmed that it was a 220 Volt line and the new motor comes pre-wired for 220V:

When disconnecting the old one, I had one green wire, which was screwed to terminal inside the motor (the ground), and two red wires that were connected with spade connectors to two other terminals inside the motor.
In a 220V set up, does it matter which of the red wires goes on which terminal? I'm assuming not, since they are both red, but I want to make sure.
