Hayward Side-Mount Valve With TR100 Triton II Filter

I currently have a Hayward S310S filter with side-mount valve. The filter body is cracked just under the flange beneath the top dome. I've tried to patch the crack a couple of times without any long-term success. Going to have to replace the filter.

I'd like to take the opportunity to switch to a TR100 Triton II filter not least because it appears the Triton has a top dome design that is less susceptible to this problem.

My question: Would it be possible for me to use my existing Hayward side-mount valve - at least for now - with a Triton filter body? Wondering if anyone has any experience with this.

Welcome to the forum. Others needed to confirm, but I think the answer is surely yes. To my knowledge, they will match up just fine.

Pentair side mount valve will not match up to Hayward. The plumbing off the valve is different. You would need to change the plumbing connections. Better to buy a new valve.
