How much Boric Acid I need?

For some reason I can't get PoolMath to tell me how much Boric Acid I need from DuraDiesel. I have a 15,000 gallon pool (according to manufacturer). The PoolMath calculator puts it more like 19,000 gallons. It's a free form pool so maybe manufacturer is more accurate.

Anyhoo.....can anyone tell me how much Boric Acid I would need to be be at 50ppm?

NVM, I was reversing "now" and "target". No wonder it was saying empty 100% of your pool! Ha! Answer was 35.8 lbs. Can anyone confirm this for me?

There is a drop down menu to switch from Borax to Boric acid.

15k gal pool 50 ppm needs Add 573oz by weight or 616oz by volume of Boric Acid.

You can go here and get the square feet of your pool by clicking the surrounding edges. There is still going to be some margin of error but will get you pretty close. Make sure you zoom in as far as you can on your pool and click alot of points.

Square Feet * Average Depth * 7.48 = your total gallons
