cleaning inflatables

...not sure if this is the right place to ask, but...

Several of our inflatable poll toys are looking pretty gross. :-/ I'm not sure if it's just dirt, mildew, or algae.
How should I clean them before storing them for the winter :?:
I'm guessing a bleach solution, but I don't know how strong to mix it. I'd be interested to hear what others have done.

I throw them away and buy new ones next spring. I take each grandkid to the pool store or WalMart were they can pick out the ones they want.
