I need a cleaner that doesn't depend on my pool pump.

My pool filter keeps getting clogged by cedar leaves.

Is there a pool cleaner that will gather the cedar leaves that I can empty out easily?

A skimmer sock in the skimmer would catch a lot of them, though not the ones that go into the main drain.

Most cleaners will catch them. Easy to clean out the cleaner is more debatable.

You can consider a robot cleaner, but they are very pricey. If your cedar things are more of a seasonal occurance, his might be one of those instances where a pool skim might be of some help. You will need to run your pump and I agree with JasonLion a skimmer sock it recommeneded. But I believe this pool skim migh actually collect more of those things than the skimmer will.

Several folks here on TFP have one of these....
