AGP - When is it time to say Good-Bye?

I have a Sharkline pool 48"x28'. About 20 years old. When is it time to take down or replace? I am the main person that uses it and takes care of it. In my 50s and think I may be ready to give it up.. but not sure.

How do I know when the pool is too old? We do have some rust spots under return and skimmer that worry me. Hubby wants to give it another year. There is a backyard/house downhill from the pool.

Many Thanks!

Welcome to the forum suncountry

Well the good thing is that buried 2' of water (9K gal) isn't going anywhere. Is your pool about 18,000 gals ??
For areas of the structure that you're worried about the rust you can always post a few photos to get some opinions on.

Welcome. We'd love to see pics of the pool,n any problem areas you're concerned with.

Oh boy... TAKE THAT COVER OFF!!! That pool looks great for being 20 yrs old!
