Keepy Krauly Shot after 2 seasons

Hello I have Kreapy Krauly Legend pressure side pull cleaner and it appears to be shot. Wheels slip on gears, get stuck in corners, rear hose knobs worn and even the hose a litte, bag shot.

This surprises me. Shoudl I be surprised? It seems a rebuild is quite a bit of money. A new one is about $400. So question is is two year resonable for a rebuild? If it is would I be netter off with a robot? I have seen some for about $600

I'm very biased toward Robots. My advice to almost anyone on a cleaner, is buy the very best Robot you can possibly afford.

You don't give your pool size but, unless you have a small pool, a good robot is the best choice.

I have a small pool and I wish that I had gotten a robot from day one. Not having to connect it to anything but a power supply and it just works. Even if it breaks after a year, I would be happy. I am amazed at the amount of sand that it collects and it does a great job filtering the water. Much better than my Kreepy KrAuly Lil Shark.

Thank you for the replies. The pool is about 36 by 18. perimeter is 100 ft or so. I plan on starting to research robots.
