Gustav has passed... review my numbers, please?

Hi folks,

Gustav passed over, not so quietly, left us without power for only 6 (mildly warm) days. I had plenty of time the fish out the leaves and debris, and to stir in some hth chlorine that I managed to get someone at HD to let me into the garden/pool care area. NOTE to self: get bleach before next hurricane. (couldnt even get in grocery store for days)

Our power came on yesterday, so now I'm trying to get rebalanced. Here's what I've got:

FC 5.5
CC 0.5
TC 6.0
pH 7.5
T/A 70
CH 200
CYA 30
Temp 85
Borates 30

After testing, I added one box of 20 Mule Team.
I see I need to add some CYA.

Will the borates pull up the T/A?
Should I also raise the CH?

The borax will raise the TA only a very tiny amount. Mostly it will raise your PH.

Yes, you should raise your CH level to at least 250, perhaps a bit higher, but there is no need to rush on that.
