Hayward Variable Speed Pump Drive Error Pump Has Stalled
after checking and resetting the breakers... and playing with the speeds.. nothing worked.. I called Hayward and the person on the phone was really great... he set up a repair while I was on the phone and the repairman came the next day before noon. He replaced the BRAIN?? on the pump and it is working great... Hayward provided the part for free and since I was out of warranty by 3 months I had to pay for the labor.. It took the repairman about 30 minutes to change the part... The repairman said that the Ecostar Pump's BRAIN was an issue with the ones manufactured in the 2010, 2011 era. Hayward has fixed the issues with the Brain... I really like the ecostar.

Glad to see they covered the part and all you had to pay was labor. I wish more companies were willing to work with owners when there are issues with products.

When you say the brain was replaced, do you mean the Digital control interface or another part?
