The pools I maintain go through a lot of water since they have a high bathing load. Since the pools go through so much water I measured the CH of the source water and found it to be 200. With the TA at 100, the CYA at 30, and the Ph at 7.5 the pool calculator says that the pool is balanced. My question is, will the lower CH damage the pool since they aren't vinyl or painted or will it be okay since my saturation index is balanced? It's my thoughts that it will be okay and that I can keep the CH low as long as I adjust for it with the TA.
