I was wondering if anyone had feedback on what style of extruded (pink) foam works better under the pool. I would imagine that the tongue and groove would hide the seems better than the straight edge sheets. Obviously I would still have the seems taped for the tongue and groove install, but I just wanted to see some real world feedback on the tongue and groove sheets. I think I'm going to purchase 3/4" Foamular 250 tongue and groove sheets.

I can not help you because I have a sand base but wanted to wish you luck on your install. Post pics! We'd be very interested to watch!
Just use good quality tuct tape instead of duct tape, holds much better. Its a red tape for house wrap that builders use, available at local building store.
It's not a "duct tape" you want, its a waterproof PVC (red stucco tape) or House wrap tape.
Oh man, you guys are a day late. We used extra strength "Duck Tape" brand. Hopefully it'll be all good. They seem like they did a good job with it.
