My CC went up from 0 on Sunday to 0.2 tonight. My FC dropped from 8 to 6.4 overnight, but we had a high of 86 and people have been swimming regularly. Also the pool is in direct sun until around 6. I'm not worried, just wondering if that sounds normal or is that the canary in the mine. I guess my real question is, when you see an increase can you just increase the FC double the CC to combat it early rather than wait for a SLAM later.

To be a little more verbose ;) ....

If you use 25ml of water (as the K-2006 suggests), each drop is 0.2ppm
If you use 10ml of water (as the TF-100 suggests), each drop is 0.5ppm ... this is plenty accurate and saves a lot of reagent.

Thanks, I will start using the .5. To test my theory I added slightly more bleach to not only bring the FC to the recommended amount, but add a bit more essentially I figured double the CC and today I'm at 0 CC.
