I have an 18ft diameter above ground pool and have extended my 16ft wide deck out to the pool (coped around a section of the pool). I want to build a deck addition that goes around the pool that with at top of deck elevation approx 12" above grade, well below a level to use it to enter the pool. This deck will be used to essentially clean up the appearance around the undecked area and provide a nice walkway for maintenance. What would be the minimum width of this deck walkway. I dont need a big walkway around.
