Just got a new back-up valve case. Has anybody figured out something to do to make the case nut easier to unscrew? Maybe painting the threads with pool lube when assembling the case?
Why do I have a new case? The back-up valve failed at the end of last season. I ordered just the valve and spent all winter trying to get the old case apart. Finally gave up & ordered a new case for the new valve.
