pH testing

Other than using the LaMotte ColorQ system with the photometer, is there any other reliable test I can measure PH without having to use a color comparator?

There are some digital PH meters in the $100 range that are good, though you do need to keep them calibrated.

I am considering one of these > MyronL PT2

This company makes excellent hand held instrumentation used by professional water treaters. Many of them consider MyronL to be among very best. These new pH pens are getting some good feedback from industry. I've been through many brands of the 100 dollar range models, never to return. This one sells for 144.00.

Proper Maintenance/calibration, and storage are critical for keeping an accurate pH meter of any type or brand.
