CYA- to add or not to add

Hi all!

Hard to believe this summer has once again whizzed on by! I have a quick question about my CYA levels. Since I plan on closing the pool for the winter around the end of this month.

I normally keep my level at 50ppm. I tested it today and it was reading about 35-30ish. So Should I add more CYA or not?

You would probably only use an extra $10.00 worth of chlorine. I would leave it alone and adjust in the Spring.
