Adjust pH after SLAM. OUr normal suggestion is to adjust pH before SLAM, ignore it during SLAM until that is done.

So you put the Red reagent in the pH side and it turned orange-ish yellow? At 28 FC that's kind of odd. Usually, it shows false high over 10PPM which is more in the Red spectrum. Can you re-do that to verify?

I never bother testing CC until my water is clear and I feel I should be nearing the end of the SLAM process.
