Paver pad question, center drain or 3" slope?

Redoing the backyard this year. It's 20' square paver pad for the pool, which is better. With the center drain no leveling issue for the outer rim, just slight slope ~1.5" towards the center. No drain setup will require a 3" slope for drainage. Which setup should I go with?

If you are building a pad to place an above ground pool on, it is important that the pad be exactly level where the pool wall is going to sit. There can be a slope in other areas (typically setup to drain water away from the pool), but the spots where the wall is going to sit needs to be level. For a round pool that will be centered, the center drain setup sounds good. But if the pool will be offset from the center you need to get creative.
