Eyeball diverters?

Hello all. I am in the progress of having my pool re-plastered. Currently, the return lines have no diverters and shoot water straight into the pool. I use a Kreepy Krauly and it tends to be in the deep end (10 ft deep) most of the time. My questions is, would it be worth it to have eyeball diverters installed as part of the re-plaster process in order to be able to adjust the water flow direction to aid the Kreepy in moving up the slope to the shallow end? Now would be the time to install the diverters if at all.

Thanks
