11500 K inground plaster pool/spa with Nano SWG runs 8 hours a day SW FL. Last Thursday cleaned filter and thought it looked gray/black and since we did not plan to use pool for a few days added 4 gallons of 8.25% chlorine bleach. Prior to addition: Borates 50ppm, pH 7.6 so added 5 C muratic acid, TA 70 so added 3 C baking soda, TC 4, FC 4, CC 0 by FAS/DPD Leslie's Complete Poolcare Kit. Ca had been probably over 800 as irrigation water had been spraying into to pool for a year when we were not here to see it!!)Have partially drained the pool 4 times and added back city water. Ca now down to 360. CYA 60.

Pool looks better than ever has - calcium scale reduced 90% since I have been brushing daily and replaced water. 5 days after adding 4 gallons chlorine level still very high. How long does it take to dissipate? pH not reliable but how about TA and CYA with high chlorine levels? Have turned off SWG for 3 days.

With CYA around 60, and assuming you don't add any more chlorine, you should lose roughly 1/3 of your FC each sunny day (unless it is especially cold, in which case it might be slower).

All of the tests except PH will still be correct even though the FC level is very high. There is some chance that the colors you see in the TA and CH tests might be different than usual, but the results will still be valid.
