Excavation has started on my house, and the pool decisions will need to be finalized soon. I wanted to get suggestions on where to put the pool equipment. My preferences would be on the wall to the south, but that would be approximately a 150 foot run to the spa. The pool runs would be somewhat shorter than that. The other option would be to put the pump on the north wall by the two A/C units.
On the south wall, the pump would be below the bottom of the pool, and on the north wall would be a few feet above the top of the pool.
Any recommendations on placement and piping?
