    Hello from So. IL

Hello everyone, This is my 3rd year with a pool (bought a house with a pool). I'm trying to learn everything I can about pools, I would like to open and close the pool myself and perform any an all maintenance. Thanks in advance for all the great info on this site.

Welcome. You'll find a ton of great info here. If you haven't discovered it yet, read the articles in Pool School.

I saw your other post about pool paint but I am not qualified to help. There have been others here who have experience painting so, hopefully, they'll be along soon.
