Leslie's algae control?

Is Leslie's Algae Control "the good stuff," the polyquat 60? It sure costs enough! I haven't had any algae at all, but was thinking of putting in a quart of the polyquat at closing.

So I picked up a quart yesterday, only Polyquat 60 I could find in the area; probably would have been better off ordering it online. Whatever.

I haven't read the bottle yet, but for winterizing my pool, how much would I put in?

a pint per 10k gal is what I would do.
