Leaf Rake advice

Hi

I get a lot of gum tree leaves in the pool (in Australia) and have The Pool Cleaner working . It gets blocked because of the size of the leaves. I use a cheap leaf rake and was wondering if they vary much in ease and quality for a more expensive one.
Would love to make my job of getting the leaves off the bottom easier if possible

I've never noticed pool leaf rakes being very different from each other. Some of the more expensive ones are a littler sturdier and last a little longer, but all of the ones I have tried behave roughly the same when raking up leaves.
