Is it possible to pressure test a pool's plumbing with disconnected equipment

Is it possible to pressure test a pool's plumbing with disconnected equipment and an empty pool?

I'm finally redoing the pool of my new house and realized it's not going to make much sense to test the lines after all the deck and pool work are finished. If it doesn't work right we have to tear up that work!

Anything's possible. May have to get creative though. Use fittings, plugs, a pressure gauge, and a soap bottle to test the plugs.
