I noticed a small drip where motor and pump meet. Could this be a bad shaft seal or a bad seal plate gasket? Motor doesn't sound any different. Pool noobert here but handy. If replacing just shaft seal, should I go ahead and replace seal plate gasket as well? Are there any other gasket I should replace having pump off. I have not tore apart a motor/pump ever so any advice is much appreciated. Videos on YouTube seem like shaft seal replacement is pretty straight forward.
