Poolskim return jet

I just received a poolskim and have a couple of questions please.

I took off the return eyeball and need to know the best way to unscrew the rest of the return assymbly in pool to attach the poolskim. I can't take it off by hand; do I simply use a pair of pliers to unscrew? I just don't want to rip the liner or break it.

Any problems using glue for the pvc assymbly or are the screws that come with it sufficient.

A strap wrench is a good way to get the remainder of the fitting out.

I would not glue it together. You need to be able to adjust how the pieces fit together and the stainless steel screws will hold it together just fine as long as you make sure the screw goes through both pieces of pipe. Don't try to use power drivers to put it together or you may crack the pipe.
