An unwanted Christmas present in my pool

I got up this morning and checked the pool only to find a dead rabbit floating next to the skimmer. I've found dead frogs in there before but never anything like this. The odd thing is that we never see rabbits around the neighborhood - mostly just squirrels.

What should I do to make sure the water is sanitized? Go ahead and SLAM?

Unless FC has gone to zero, all you need to do is remove the rabbit and raise FC up to a bit above the high end of the normal range once.

I never had a dead rabbit before either. That is a new one.
