I have an older fiberglass tub and was wondering if the cover lifts would work with fiberglass? I know that you have to drill holes for the brackets and was concerned about whether you can drill holes into the side of the fiberglass and if it would hold the brackets. Any help or recommendations are appreciated.

You can always do what most stores do for floor models: Instead of mounting the brackets to the spa, mount them to a 2 x 4 on the ground just behind the spa. You'll have to devise a way to hold it vertically depending on your set up, but again nothing a little extra lumber can't fix.
