Jandy 2 port valve interchange

Can you swap the internals of the Jandy 2 port valve and insert the Jandy check valve insert?

Did a test with water, not interchangeable...

i have swapped them before with no issues. they both have the same body, i make sure i do it before gluing into place.

The rubber gasket on the flapper is different than the one on the valve...
